PRINCIPLE / PHOTOGRAPHER     g_shots

August, 1969  After shooting film for a month in Europe, with an Ansco 35mm, (the same month we landed on the moon), I bought a Pentax Spotmatic and borrowed money from my dad to buy an 80-200 mm telescopic lens. I shot rock concerts in the 70’s and 80’s and began creating cutting-edge, editorial and commercial imagery in the 80’s and 90’s. 

I am an award winning photographer with over 40 years of film and digital experience. Over the last 20 years, I have concentrated on backcountry photography. I've hiked, biked, camped and backpacked into remote areas - to find the perfect location and composition that connects my artistry and my awareness.  My ability to capture the essence of that moment and infuse my emotion into the image is second nature.
